Neges o’r prif swyddfa: ar un adeg roedd fy mlog yn Saesneg pan o’n i’n ceisio gwella fy sgiliau Cymraeg. Felly mae’r blogiad hwn dim ond ar gael yn English – achos mae’n hen.

Hi Carl!
I’ve noticed you use the word ‘baswn’ quite a lot and I’m struggling to recall its meaning. Amusingly, Google translate plumps for ‘bassoon’, which, unless you’ve been hiding a passion for the more obscure of the woodwind instruments from me, I find unlikely.
It’s one of those words which sounds really familiar, but I can’t get my finger on it…frustration…
…for example:
“Os dw i’n dechrau unrhyw le fel ‘na baswn i creu rhywle gyda awyrgylch fel hon.”
Translated by Google as:
“If I start any place like that Bassoon to create a place with an atmosphere like this.”

Diolch yn fawr!
Ah! You’re speaking Gog! It all makes sense now. I’d tried it in a few lexicon type sites with no success. Maybe they’re hwntws too…
