  1. Well, I’m glad you were there to represent us. It does seem to have been a damp-squib as an event. Hopefully it’ll be a more momentous and meaningful event as a turning point in history.

  2. Damp squib is a good term for it. I think more open public gatherings, where appropriate, would help people’s awareness of what the National Assembly does.

    It would be a pretty easy way to get more “engagement” from voters/citizens/constituents.

    And again we see that the UK media is not going to help us. For a major constitutional change the coverage in UK media was very scant – 180 words on page 8 of The Guardian, nothing on Newsnight, etc.
