Es i i’r Amgueddfa Genedlaethol Cymru, un o fy hoff lefydd yng Nghaerdydd, i weld arddangosfa newydd (o hen hen gelf).
O’n i eisiau dangos lluniau yma.
Ond yn anffodus dylwn i ddilyn eu polisi nhw.
Plîs darllena’r termau ac amodau, yn enwedig: “…na chaniatáu iddi gael ei chyflwyno ar unrhyw wefan”.
Sori, dim llun o hen gelf Tsieniaidd heddiw (gan fy hynafiaid, uh huh). Maen nhw ar fy disc caled. Efallai gallet ti ddod rownd i’w weld.
Felly yn lle, dyma llun o tipi o’r Brooklyn Museum yn Efrog Newydd.
Lluniau gan Brooklyn Museum dan drwydded Creative Commons.
Dilyna’r blog Tumblr. OK, maen nhw yn rhyddhau EU lluniau NHW ar Flickr, ar Tumblr, o gwmpas y we dan Creative Commons.
Beth am ymwelwyr? Ydyn nhw yn gallu “cyflwyno ar unrhyw wefan”?
Cer i’r oriel ar-lein Brooklyn Museum am lluniau gan ymwelwyr.
Mae rhai o’r ymwelwyr wedi dewis trwydded Creative Commons – fel y llun yma o Amenhotep o’r Aifft gan wallyg.
Paid â gofyn lle ffeindiodd y Brooklyn Museum y cerflun. Pwnc arall!
Yn hytrach na’r wefan Brooklyn Museum yn enwedig hoffwn i roi ffocws ar y grŵp Flickr achos mae’n rhad iawn. Mae sefydliadau yng Nghymru yn meddwl bod ar-lein yn golygu platfform arbennig newydd am £20,000, £100,000 neu mwy, dyw e ddim yn wir! Dw i ddim yn siarad am blatfformau rili heddiw, dw i’n siarad am bolisi. Mae lot o bobol eisiau fy ngofyn am dechnoleg weithiau, dw i’n tuedda tuag at ofyn am bolisi cyntaf.

Thanks for shooting. We look forward to seeing your images!
Dim sôn am beidio rhannu ar y we. Mewn gwirionedd maen nhw yn ANNOG defnydd o’r grŵp a rhannu.
Nôl i’r lluniau gan Brooklyn Museum. Dwedodd Huffington Post:
Likewise, despite the common (though questionable) view that it’s more lucrative for museums to assert as much control over their “intellectual property” as copyright law allows, the Brooklyn Museum apparently understands that its mission is more effectively fulfilled, and the public better served, when the museum allows its collection to be reproduced, remixed and disseminated in as many (non-commercial) ways as possible.
We actually just launched a big project to better identify the rights status of objects in our online collection, so now each object on the Museum’s collections pages has information on its rights status, including those that are understood to be under no known copyright. At the same time, we’ve taken another step in the ongoing direction of opening up more content and with images and text that we own the copyright to, we changed our default Creative Commons license on the site from a CC BY-NC-ND to a CC BY-NC, to allow for greater re-use of materials.
Rhannu a hyrwyddo trwy CC ers 2004…
The great thing about CC is its modular structure. We had started with that CC-BY-NC-ND back in 2004 and having had a good experience, wanted to open it up a bit more. CC allows us to change as we grow and that’s very valuable – it means we can take small steps toward larger goals and do so as the institution feels comfortable.
Rhyw ddydd efallai byddan nhw yn cael gwared o’r NC (nid-masnachol). Efallai mae rhywun eisiau gwerthu crys-t o rywbeth neu blogio gyda thipyn o hysbysebion, beth yw’r broblem? Dylai amgueddfeydd dosbarthu mwy.
Mae’r Brooklyn Museum yn dda ond dw i’n byw yng Nghymru. Dyma’r polisi’r Amgueddfa Genedlaethol Cymru yn Saesneg, yr unig lun arall dw i’n gallu rhannu o fy ymweliad.
Gweler hefyd: polisiau llun NASA (gwych), Cynulliad Cymru (da) ac ABC Awstralia (da), Llyfrgell Genedlaethol (hmm)
DIWEDDARIAD 14/03/2011: Mae’r Amgueddfa yn rhyddhau lluniau dan Creative Commons. (Diolch Rhys am y sylw.)
